Realism on the Hudson, March 1 - April 13, 2025. Awards Reception Saturday March 1, 1-3 pm. Live painting event & Vasari oil pigments demonstration Saturday March 22, 1-3 pm. The American Artists Professional League is pleased to present Realism on the Hudson, a small works exhibition showcasing realist and representational artwork created by our members from across the country. Visitors surely will not want to miss AAPL Signature Member Brian McClear, an award-winning realist, painting a large scale still life in oils on March 22nd live at the Howland Cultural Center. Vasari Classic Artists’ Oil Colors is sponsoring this event, sharing tips on how to use their pigments and offering a 20% discount.
