ARC Living Artist Nathan Bertling's second solo show, "All of the Above", is currently on view at the Dacia Gallery.
This collection of paintings embodies both traditional and imaginative approaches to contemporary realism. Bertling draws inspiration from a variety of sources, from old and new masters, as well as influences from his wife’s work as a children’s book illustrator.
The exhibit will run from Dec. 12, 2024 - Jan. 5, 2025 at the Dacia Gallery, 621 E. 11th St., New York, NY 10009.

Parmigianino: The Vision of Saint Jerome

This exhibition explores the creation of Parmigianino’s 'The Madonna and Child with Saints', also known as ‘The Vision of Saint Jerome’. It returns to public display for the first time in 10 years following conservation.
Parmigianino made many drawings to work out his final composition. They range from velvety chalk studies to swirling pen and ink sketches and a variety of them will be reunited with the painting for the first time.
The exhibition runs from December 1, 2024 – March 9, 2025 at The National Gallery, Trafalgar Square, London, UK.

TH Brennen Fine Art is hosting an exhibition and sale of works all measuring 12"x12" by more than 70 established and emerging international artists, including ARC Living Masters Nanci France-Vaz, Jeremy Lipking, and ARC Associate Living Master Ed Copley.

Dutch Flower Painting Course with Carlo Russo

In this four-day course artists will explore the perspectives and methods of classical Dutch painters through a modern lens – from the ground/surface and brushes (check your supply list) to application techniques including concepts of transparency. Artists will bring their own botanicals/bouquets/etc. and will have 28 hours of studio time to apply learned techniques with Carlo's guidance, support, and daily demonstrations.
The course takes place at Studio Incamminati,1901 S 9th St, Philadelphia, PA 19148 from January 16-19, 2025.

This holiday season, Abend Gallery is thrilled to present its 34th Annual Holiday Miniatures Show, a beloved tradition for art lovers and collectors alike. Featuring over 60 exceptional artists from around the globe, this year’s exhibition celebrates the artistry and precision of miniature works across a dynamic range of genres and themes. Visitors can explore a rich variety of subjects—from delicately rendered florals and vibrant still lifes to tranquil landscapes and deeply expressive portraits, each piece telling a captivating story within its compact dimensions.
ARC Living Master Marina Dieul, Anna Wypych and ARC Associate Living Master Kazuya Ushioda will be among the exhibiting artists.

A New Look at Watteau

A New Look At Watteau
Explore the mysterious masterpiece, Gilles, as it is placed back into the context of early 18th century theatre life and other artworks produced by Watteau and his contemporaries. A New Look At Watteau will also touch on the fascination that Gilles has inspired all the way to the present day, influencing creators of all backgrounds to explore its captivating riddle.
This exhibition presents sixty-five works (paintings, drawings, engravings, books, photographs and film excerpts), including seven paintings by Watteau, thanks to the support of various French, European and American museums.

Andrew Wyeth: 1982

This exhibition encapsulates the life and work of the Andrew Wyeth during a pivotal year in his artistic career. In this year in which the artist turned sixty-five and entered what might be considered his late period, he embraced new subjects and dealt with the ups and downs of popular success, including a significant theft of his artworks.
The exhibition showcases rarely-seen works and reveals new insights into his enduring creativity during a volatile period. Andrew Wyeth: 1982 invites viewers to reflect on the cultural and personal contexts that shaped the artist’s practice during this specific year through art and archival materials.

Australian Portraits: In the Limelight and in the Shadows

ARC Living Master Vicki Sullivan merges the timeless aesthetics of the old masters with a modern sensibility. She goes beyond capturing a mere physical likeness of her subjects and strives to encapsulate their essence and spirit to convey emotions, ideas, and themes that resonate universally.
The exhibition runs from November 14, 2024 – February 1, 2025 at the Frankston Arts Centre, 27-37 Davey Street, Frankston VIC, 3199, Australia.

Miano Academy of Art Complimentary Open House

The mission of the Miano Academy of Art is to provide a school of classical and traditional drawing and painting that brings realism back into the spotlight. The exhibition, at their new atelier, will showcase the artwork of Charles Miano, his apprentices, and alumni.
The exhibit is open to the public. Students will be on hand to talk about the school and their educational experiences. Some student artwork will be available for sale.
The event takes place from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM EST on December 4, 2024 at the Miano Academy of Art, 1915 Northgate Boulevard, Sarasota, FL, 34234.
