ARC Living Master™ Nelson Shanks

| ARC Living Master™ and head of Studio Incamminati Nelson Shanks passed away on Friday, August 28, 2015 from complications from cancer. Shanks became world famous for his paintings of international luminaries ranging from Pope John Paul II to Supreme Court justices. However, as much as his art, he wanted his legacy to be Studio Incamminati, School for Contemporary Realist Art, which he founded with his wife Leona. “Studio Incamminati’s purpose,” he once said, “is to produce great competence and the great painters of the next generation.” Nelson Shanks left an amazing legacy of both his own art as well as well trained artists. He will be missed. | |
