 | We are happy to reintroduce the important 19th century female battle artist, Elizabeth Thompson, AKA Lady Butler, to the ARC website with many new images and biography. She was one of the most famous female painters of her time. Today her paintings are in many important English museums and two are in the Royal Collection at Buckingham Palace.
