ARC Living Master Steven Christopher Seward has been commissioned to recreate a series of Titian paintings known as “The 11 Caesars” that were all lost in a catastrophic fire in the Royal Alcazar of Madrid, Spain, nearly 300 years ago. The 11 Caesars were some of Titian’s most well-known works, having been owned by Charles I of England and then Philip IV of Spain.
The company commissioning Mr. Seward, AI Vanguard Art, is active in recreating works of art that have been lost or destroyed throughout history.
