I take a very deep share in the very sad loss which now tests your distinguished hous in the person of your own partner, Mr. Thomas Baring.
His character was of such high distinction, universally respected throughout the whoe world, that the loss leads to even greater regrests, to which I associate myself entirely. I have take note of the terms in your current circular, relative to the consequences of this business.
Gentlemen, please accept, with my condolences, the asurance of my sincerest compliments.
