Vincent Torres started painting at a very young age, studying the Pre-Raphaelite artists, and reproducing artworks by Ilya Repin, Rubens and Sorolla. He used to spend many hours in front of the two William A. Bouguereau paintings from his local art museum. William was the artist who influenced him the most. After studying four years at the Art Academy, he continued painting and exhibiting his artwork in local art galleries of south Florida, while teaching drawing and painting at schools. Vincent is currently working on a series of large outdoors figure paintings, capturing his interest and passion for beauty, present in nature and women.
