I’m a representational landscape painter who is drawn towards the moody and melancholy. There’s a certain tranquility and emotion that I’m subconsciously searching for and consider a painting successful if I can realize it.
For the last few years I’ve been captivated by the east coast of Canada and its beauty has been a subject for many of my paintings. I work predominately in oils but love the versatility of gouache paint for location studies.
