Rusudana Glonti is a realist artist who lives and works in Scotland, UK. She uses traditional mediums to create her images, predominantly oil but occasionally pastels, watercolour or charcoal. Her main subjects are still life and human form. Having started her art career later in life Rusudana completed the full course in drawing and painting at The Angel Academy in Florence, Italy between 2009-12 and subsequently took a number of workshops with some prominent European and American realist artists including Max Ginsburg, Joshua LaRock, Kathy Anderson to name a few. During the past 10 years since her return fron Florence Rusudana has been working from her studio in Aberdeenshire selling many pieces of artwork, participating in national and local exhibitions and open studios and teaching occasional workshops. She won the Grand Prize in Still Life Competion by "Inernational Artist" magazine in 2015 and on multiple occasions her artwork was featured in "Artists & Illustrators" magazine. On 4 occasions her works were shortlisted for "Artists Of The Year" and exhibited in The MallGalleries, London. She also became finalist in ARC Salons on 6 occasions in Still Life, Imaginative Realism and Fully From Life Categories.
Rusudana describes her style as Romantic Realism because her constant search of beauty in all subjects and her aspiration to convey that beauty to the viewer is her main motivation in painting. Rusudana is constantly working on honing her artistic skills and searching for some new ideas and ways to express them.
