Rebecca Luncan is a classically-trained painter known for portraits and still lifes. Rebecca’s work draws influences from memories of growing up on a small family farm in Ohio, the language of paintings from the Northern Renaissance and the Dutch Golden age of painting, and the people, animals and plants that grace her life in the Seattle area today.
Her portraits and still life paintings have been exhibited internationally and she was recently featured in Southwest Art Magazine as an “Artist to watch”. She has won numerous awards for her artwork including an Arcadia Contemporary Award & Honorable Mention from the Art Renewal Center, Artist’s Choice Award from the International Guild of Realism 13th Annual Juried Exhibition, and 5th Place in the Portrait Society of America’s Members only competition, Animals as the Subject.
