Phoebe-Louise Stewart Carter

Phoebe Stewart Carter was born in the UK in 1999, and spent her formative years between Gloucestershire and Maryland, USA.
Phoebe specialises in working from life. The subject of Phoebe's work includes portraiture, landscape and still life.
Her introduction into academic art began in 2017 at the Sarum Studios in Salisbury, England, where she was taught drawing techniques that were taught through the 19th century. From 2018 to 2021 Phoebe furthered her studies of these methods at the Florence Academy of Art where she recieved rigorous training for three years. Currently Phoebe is an Artist in Residence and teacher at the Florence Academy of Art.
