Patrick Glander is a graduate of and assistant instructor at Great Lakes Academy of Fine Art in Duluth, MN. The founders of GLAFA, Jeff and Brock Larson, had purchased an old church in Duluth. Patrick was a plasterer, repairing the church which was to be the space for the new academy when he met the Larsons. Patrick became one of the first graduates of the school and teaches the full time program as well as part time courses there. Patrick's influences rotate frequently, but constant favorites are Dennis Miller Bunker, J.A.D. Ingres, Manet, Rodin, and Augustus St. Gaudens.
