Patricia McMahon Rice has been painting and teaching a wide range of media for over 25 years. She studied classical methods and materials under Robert Liberace for over 16 years. Her specialty is painting on copper and The Berkley Gallery represents her work on this Baroque Period surface. In 2020, Patricia joined the faculty of the Stuart Street Atelier in The Plains, Virginia. This intimate atelier is located in a historic train station. She spends her days teaching atelier and mentoring classes or painting commissioned portraits and gallery work in the station's old freight room.
