Nicole Finger paints closely cropped, larger than life oil portraits frequently using her own children as muses. She attempts to record, distill and further understand some of the tumultuous mix of emotions felt at the cusp of adulthood, especially in an uncertain time. She also speaks to how our youth are shaped and informed by their natural environment and how and if they can optimally coexist.
