1978 Born in Kyoto, Japan

2001 Graduated from Department of Robotics, College of Science and Engineering, Ritsumeikan University, Japan.

2004 Dropped out of graduate school at Ritsumeikan University and subsequently studied under Tetsuya Mishima.

 

Major achievements include portrait painting of "Tama", the station master of the cat of Wakayama Electric Railway's Kishi Station (2011), 10th International ARC Salon Finalists(2014), 15th International ARC Salon Finalists(2021).

Numerous solo and group exhibitions at art galleries and art fairs.

Live and work in Kanagawa, Japan.

 

I mainly create works with motifs of cats and figures.

In my work, I want to capture on canvas the beauty and fragility of the subject seen in the passing of time.
