Art has always played a major role in Maryann Mullett's life. As a child Maryann was always creating. As a young adult she became a graphic artist who was often commissioned by Yankee Magazine for freelance illustration for its publications. It was during her career in graphic design and illustration, that she honed her eye for composition, color, and harmonic design. These elements, coupled with her signature styled close-ups of her subject matter, draw the eye of the viewer and are what make her work resonate with so many.
Nationally and internationally renowned, Maryann has received many awards and recognitions. Additionally, she has earned the prestigious titles of Master Pastelist with the Pastel Society of New Hampshire and Master Circle artist with the International Association of Pastel Societies. She is also an Associate member of the esteemed Society of Animal Artists.
Maryann resides in her home state of New Hampshire where she serves as President of the Pastel Society of New Hampshire. Seasonally, she winters in Delray Beach, Florida where she spends her time either painting or viewing birds and wildlife at a local wetlands reserve that serves as inspiration for many of her works.
