I have had a lifelong appreciation of art, natural, as well as man-made. I am a self-taught, late blooming traditional realist. I love realism because it allows me to provide the viewer an unbiased, firsthand experience.
I am a juried member of the esteemed organizations, Pastel Society of America and the International Guild of Realism, as well as several others and have had the good fortune to have many of my pieces acknowledged with awards.
The subject matter I am most passionate about is Wildlife and Animals. It is my sincere hope that my work will raise awareness about the animals and wildlife that I am depicting and in turn, positively impact the conservation of those creatures. Whether they be great or small, feathered, scaled, furry, ferocious, or docile, I firmly believe they all deserve our support.
