1948年出生于中国四川泸州。中国油画创作研究院艺委会委员，中南民族大学美术学院原副院长、教授。先后毕业于湖北美院师范系油画专业、中央美院第六届油画系研修班。现居北京从事油画人物、肖像、风景画艺术研究与创作。
Born in Luzhou, Sichuan, China in 1948. Member of the Art Committee of the China Oil Painting Creation Research Institute, former vice president and professor of the Academy of Fine Arts of South-Central University for Nationalities. He successively graduated from the Oil Painting Department of the Teachers Department of Hubei Academy of Fine Arts and the 6th Oil Painting Department Seminar of the Central Academy of Fine Arts. Now living in Beijing, he is engaged in the research and creation of oil painting figures, portraits and landscape paintings.
