Kate Lackman is an international artist known for bringing a contemporary perspective to traditional painting. More drawn to working with the figure, her range includes still life and landscape. Not only is Lackman’s art in many private collections, she notably has work in the permanent collections of Bethesda North Hospital,The White House and The Decorative Arts Department of The Louvre. Additionally she has been showcased in National and International shows including, Concours Mondial (Paris, France), Oil Painters of America, The Art of the Nude (Lexington Kentucky) , The Rise of Women in Art, (Miami University), National Oil and Acrylic Painters and is a Signature member of American Women Artists.
