Juliana Limeira was born in Brasilia, Brazil in 1978. Since she was little, Juliana was interested in fine arts and theater. At the age of 13 she attended drawing classes and at the age of 15 she won a drawing competition with a travel awards to the USA. Juliana graduated in Visual Arts at University of Brasília in 2002. 

She attended many workshops and Conferences in USA to improve her skills and complement her studies. She always tries to paint from live and travel to paint and thus continue learning and being inspired.

Her works in fine arts are drawings and oil and pastel paintings, landscapes, human figures, and scenes of life that express beauty. As a philosophy lover, Juliana Limeira searches for the meaning and the mystery of life through the arts, being inspired by the figurative and realistic art of many periods of art history, specially the classic, the neoclassic, romantic and the impressionist.  

Recent exhibition and awards include: Awarded at Art Renewal Center 15th International Salon 2020/2021 - Staff Award; Art Renewal Center Awarded Artists Exhibition at Sotheby's, New York City, USA; Art Renewal Center Awarded Artists Exhibition at MEAM, Barcelona, Spain. 2020 Finalist at Richeson 75 Portrait/Figure Competition, Winsconsin, USA; Portrait Society of America International Competition - Selected 50. 2019 Finalist at Richeson 75 Portrait/Figure Competition, Winscosin, USA; Purchase Award and Silver Medal at  "Salão de Belas Artes de Piracicaba", Piracicaba, SP, Brazil.
