Bio:
Josh Connell (b. 1980) is a self-taught artist living and working in Quinte Ontario, Canada. He draws human beings with photographic precision using charcoal and graphite. For the last twenty years he has worked with exceptional children in group homes and in schools which he feels has afforded him a unique perspective on the human condition. Connell is fascinated by the human animal and hopes to use his art to explore the species honestly, both for its light and for its darkness.
