Jeff Kern

Jeff Kern is a life long resident of Massachusetts. He attended art school at UMass, Amherst and graduated in 1979.

Having received little in the way of practical instruction for oil painting, he began the long process of learning about

the materials and techniques needed to express himself as a realist oil painter. While on this journey, he was active in the 

Copley Society in Boston, he is a long time instructor in the art program at the museum in Springfield, Mass. For a few

years he was a demonstrator of color media for Canson Products. He is represented by R. Michelson Gallery in Northampton

Mass.
