Jakub Podlodowski

Jakub Podlodowski was born in 1986 in Lublin, Poland. After graduating with honors from Uniwersytet Marii Curie-Skłodowskiej’s Department of Art in KSP, Kazimierz Dolny, in the painting workshop at prof. Jacek Wojciechowsk in 2007. He continued his studies at the Academy of Art in Kraków, earning his Master of Fine Art degree in 2010. Podlodowski has taken part in many individual and group exhibitions in Poland and other countries across Europe, has won numerous awards and accolades, and has done significant work as an art conservationist.

2022 Honorable mention in plein air category, at 16th ARC Salon - the largest realistic art competition in USA, held in New York
2022 Nominated to the Main Award, in the oldest, cyclic art competition in Poland "Winter Salon47" in the Mazowieckie Centrum Sztuki Wspofczesnej Elektrownia Radom.
2017 Honorable mention at Polish painting competition the Franciszka Eibisch Foundation 2017, Gallery of Katarzyna Napiorkowska, Warsaw, Poland.

Artistic animation-project for Warner Bros, DC Comics, Netflix, Untold studio and Submarine Studio in Amsterdam.
2020-2021 Traditional Oil Paintings commissioned by Submarine studio in Amsterdam. As a one out of eight painters made backgrounds for artistic animation-project "Undone - season 2" directed by Hisko Hulsing. The movie was aired on Amazon Prime video, Studios involved in production : Submarine studio Amsterdam, Tornante Company from Los Angeles, Minnow Mountain from Austin, Texas USA.
2018-19 Traditional Oil Paintings commissioned by Submarine studio in Amsterdam, as one out of nine painters doing backgrounds for international artistic animation-project "Undone" directed by Hisko Hulsing. 2016 Art reconstruction and conservation. Enhancing individual elements at re-creations of fresco at Orangery in tazienki KroIewskie, Polish Capital in Warsaw based on original sketch made by Jana Christian Kamsetzer, projecting fresco on other walls in classicism style.
