Rodney Dennis is an American Artist who has studied under classical artists such as Henry Koener and Dani Dawson. He continued his studies at the Academy of Realist Art in Boston. This particular education at the academy provided him with a unique opportunity to master one of the world’s longest and most important artistic traditions; an academic approach to observing and rendering nature accurately while learning the craft of painting using the techniques of the Old Masters.
As a classically trained artist, Mr. Dennis has been commissioned to paint celebrities and dignitaries such as Carla Hall, Gay Johnson MacDougal and was honored to be a final selectee for painting the official formal portrait Former First Lady Michelle Obama.
