I have been fortunate enough to enjoy a long showing career at a number of prominent galleries and museums, most recently at Hirschl & Adler Modern (2020) and at the Brooklyn Museum in 2016.

My work is in the permenant collection of over 20 museums, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art (NYC), the Frye Museum (Seattle), and both the Museum of the City of New York and the New York Historical Society.

I am currently working on two shows planned for 2024, one at the Museum of the City of New York, the other my 7th at Hirschl & Adler Modern in NYC.

In 2005-6 the MCNY held a major show of my watercolors in conjunction with the publication of a monograph of my NYC watercolors, Still New York, with a forward by Ric Burns. (Vendome Press).

I have been teaching for over 35 years, both drawing and watercolor, at Pratt Institute, the NAD, and most recently at the Art Students League of New York. I plan to conduct a travel workshop next year, in May 2023, to Amsterdam, NL.

I am currently workin on two series of works; Central Park and Provincetown, Mass.

Thank You, Frederick Brosen
