I’m Felipe Salsano. I was born in 1987 in Brasilia and brought up by a single parent who was totally blind. Having to be the eyes of my mother, I grew up constantly describing the world to her. Ever since an early age, I showed a strong interest in drawing and painting and this continuous activity of visual analysis enhanced my perception, influencing my style and resulting in works that are rich in detail and content. I get my inspiration for painting from my travel experiences, showing in my works part of the cultures I get touched by while traveling. I love people and nature. I have Italian citizenship and I live in Florence, Italy, painting, teaching and exhibiting.
