Elena Roche

Elena was academically trained in Moscow, Russia, and lived in the US for over twenty-five years. A practicing Byzantine Catholic, Elena believes that Beauty is what we sense as we search for meaning, truth, and goodness. Beauty is of the Divine, and thus, it is hard to comprehend but possible to experience and unite with. It's not a commodity and can't be mass-produced. If elements of Beauty are misused, that is used for any purpose other than the Divine purpose; it brings disasters. Having lived through the extremes of the Soviet Union and the communist oppression, Elena firmly decided to promote goodness through Beauty in fine art. Her goal is to share with other people the Beauty she finds around herself and within herself and to help the world be a better place.
