Daniel Myers

Dan Myers is a member of the Quincy Art Association where he teaches Portrait and Figure Sculpture.  He received his most intensive training at the Lyme Academy of Fine Arts with Don Gale and Dan Edwards.  His many public sculptures are in the Quincy and Hanover, MA area including at the South Shore YMCA, the Children's Library, the Quincy Historical Society, the Quincy Veterans Office, the Emilson Gymnasium, and the Quincy Art Association.  He reveres the classical realism of ancient Greece, the Renaissance, and 19th Century Europe.  The figure work of Bouguereau has been a major influence in painting.
