Christopher Laffin

Retired from a career in teaching art, I now paint full time in my studio on an island in Lake Ontario.  I studied at the Academy of Realist Art in Toronto, but favor direct painting over the academic method.  I love painting, especially people.  I’m therefore painting mostly portraits, with some landscapes and still lifes.  I sell paintings online, from shows, and by commission.  My first one-man show is coming up in a few weeks.
