Chris Forrest returned to art 2019 following a 30 year absence. While always intending to attend art school, he ended up with multiple degrees in engineering, 10 years service as an officer in the US Arrmy (command, staff, Vietnam, ranger & airborne training), 10 years printmaker concentrating on etchings multi color hand drawn lithographs, 30 years business, and today painting coastal scenes with wildlife. In pursuit of the outdoor experience he has camped/hiked all 4 corners of the US along with eastern Canada. His work has been juried into American Society of Marine Artists, Copley Society National, International Guild of Realism, NOAPS, OPA, Richeson75 and SAA shows. Feature articles on his work have been published in ASMA Journal, Hyperrealism Mag, SW Art, Wildlife Art News, and Prints, and his work has appeared in American Art Collertor & Plein Air Magazine. He is married w/children and lives on a coastal island off NJ.
