Candy has been honing her art and photography skills for years, as an artist, interior designer, gallery owner and art teacher. She is attracted to birds and her paintings or mix medium pieces often utilize this theme. This environmental concern has seen her art display at Stanford University-Science Art-Nature Symposiums. As a Signature member of and international group called Artists for Conservation, her paintings have been accepted in their International Juried Show in Vancouver, Arizona Sonora Desert Museum and Quingdao, China.
In 2017 Candy was accepted as a member Of the Federation of Canadian artist and been accepted into over a dozen shows.
Her interest in photography is honed on her world travels to see the variety of birds and mammals that inhabit our planet. Twice one of her photos has made it into the final 3000 from over 48000 entries for Wildlife Photographer of the Year.
Over the years there have been numerous group, solo and catalogue shows. She has been recognized nationally and internationally. Locally you will find her participating as a member of the artist guilds in her area or even busy painting another mural.
