Arina Gordienko MA, figurative realist artist based in the UK, dedicates herself to realistic traditions in painting. In her works she is using classical techniques with a fresh essence of imaginative compositions and a contemporary palette. Arina is a winner of numerous awards and honourable mentions, also she is a finalist of various art contests in the UK, USA and Europe.
Her works exhibited at Saatchi Gallery in London, MEAM – European Museum of Modern Art in Barcelona, Wausau Museum of Contemporary Art in USA, Museum of Modern Art Vittoria Colonna in Italy, Museum of Fantastic Art in Vienna, OSTEN Museum of Drawing in Macedonia, and other venues in USA, Europe, Australia, Russia, and India.
Arina’s works are in ‘The Bennett Collection’ (USA), ‘OSTEN Museum of Drawing’ (Macedonia), ‘The Peregrine Collection’ (USA, courtesy of Samuel Peralta) going to land on the Moon on the ‘Peregrine Lunar Lander’ Annex 9 time Astrobotic capsule, and many other private collections. Also legendary artist Gustav Metzger has purchased her large scale painting from Arina’s MA Final Degree Show in 2008 in London.
Her works featured in numerous publications, including a cover of the ‘Leonardo Art Guide’ book by Artelibre Gallery and MEAM, ‘Strokes of Genius’, American Art Collector Magazine, International Artist Magazine, Fine Art Connoisseur, ‘Women Painting’ by MEAM, ‘ModPortrait’ catalogues and ‘Arte y Libertad’ annual books by MEAM, ‘International Realism’ by ARC Salon, and ‘PoetsArtists’ various publications, etc.
Arina has an academic art education, having completed MA (Masters Degree) in Painting at Chelsea College of Arts in London and BA Fine Arts at Central Saint Martins College of Arts, both - University of the Arts London, UK. Also she gained a Distinction Diploma in Fine Arts at College of Arts in Russia.
