Anzhelika Doliba was born in Ukraine in 1969 and graduated from the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture in 1994 where she focused her studies in the methods and practices of classical realism. After graduating, she traveled throughout Europe and eventually settled in Egypt and later in Germany, where she lived and worked between 1994 and 2010.
Architecturally significant buildings in a wide range of styles spanning distinct historical and cultural periods have always inspired her to create a series of silverpoint drawings.
Most of her recent work features drawings in silver on paper or board with prepared grounds. Using continually evolving techniques, she has moved this ancient art form into previously unexplored territory, opening it up to new possibilities.
Her works has been displayed in many exhibits, museums, galleries and private collections throughout the world. In 2010, Anzhelika moved to the United States where she currently lives and works in New Jersey.
