Australian born artist Anne-Marie Zanetti has a contemporary, expressive style combining simple, flowing elements with rich colour, tone and detail. Her highly realistic still life, portrait and figurative works are inspired by beauty, saturated in light and are rendered in layers of fine smooth brushstrokes and glazes.

Starting her art practice later in life – in her early 40s – Anne-Marie's work is inspired by delving into personal experience, namely the stunning range of human emotions. Anne-Marie is on a continual journey to unearth and transform her emotional landscape through her conversation with paint. She aims to illuminate the preciousness of objects and moments in time that may otherwise seem insignificant or ordinary... inviting the viewer to participate in her intimate experiences and to enjoy the intensity of her unique vision.

Early on, whilst developing her technical skills, Anne-Marie donated most of her paintings to fundraisers, as her skills developed she began entering competitions and accepting commissions. Today, Anne-Marie is represented by numerous galleries and has exhibited all over the world.  She has won recognition and awards both in Australia and internationally, including winning an award at the ARC Salon in 2021.
