Exalting the human spirit through expressive faces and natural body movement has become the recognized trademark of Angela Mia De la Vega’s figurative bronze sculpture. Her work’s greatest inspiration is the ever-changing individuality of her children.

 

Angela is an award-winning artist represented by fine art galleries around the United States. With monumental sculptures installed in hospitals, universities, and town parks and plazas, her work is also in private art collections around the globe.  She is an elected Fellow of the National Sculpture Society, a Master Signature member of American Women Artists, and was named a Living Master by the international Art Renewal Center.  Major awards include Best in Show, Best 3D Work, and Award of Excellence by AWA and The Purchase Award by the ARC Museum. 

 

Angela cofounded and is president of FLITE to Freedom (Friends Lifting Individuals To Empowerment), a Dallas-based non-for-profit organization that gathers artists and art lovers together to support underprivileged and at-risk people:
