Troy Argyros

Trained at The Florence Academy of Art and holding a Bachelor of Fine Art Painting and a Graduate Diploma of Visual Art Education from Monash University, Australian artist Troy Argyros works primarily within the genres of portraiture and still life, with an aesthetic emphasis on subtle atmospheric effects and delicately rendered form. Thematically, Troy is interested in the mysterious, the ambiguous, and the solemnly whimsical, like the alluring beginning of a story, only giving so much.
