Visible Secret by Arezoo Mirzaei

Sweet childhood memories were my inspiration to create this work. There is a frequently experienced feeling in this subject matter, hiding behind the curtain, which may have happened for everyone in childhood, since, the story behind this work is very perceptible. My daughters sometimes play this game and they were my sources in this painting. 

However, applying some aesthetic principles, I attempt to display something more than just a memorable story. Personally I adore the effect of contrast between light and dark in painting and I believe that it really captures emotion. Use of a dark space and a window of light helped me communicate concepts.
