Midnight Shadows by Jake Gaedtke

The scene is of the Sourdough Trail located near where we live and where I take our dog for her walks quite often. The tell-tale tracks in the snow through this aspen grove gives witness to the well-used trail during the day by other people walking their dogs, hikers, and cross-country skiers. In the evenings though, all that activity gives way to the quiet and silence of the night, where only moon-lit shadows prevail.
