I have enjoyed working with Laura because of the sense of serenity and groundedness that she employs. Her direct gaze, uncomplicated composure and her engagement with me, the artist, and also the viewer, helps me create the images I was seeking. She poses in these three pastels inside an embroidery from Oaxaca, Mexico.
