The Weaving by Narelle Zeller

The Weaving explores our relationship with the natural environment and highlights the importance of working alongside nature, in appreciation of its beauty and significance to our existence. The centerpiece details a burst of organic botanical elements arranged by human hand, set against a backdrop of web-like crocheted cloth. Orb Weaver spiders spin their own webs, reclaiming the arrangement and continuing the cycle of nature and design. Natural and man-made elements are woven together and enmeshed into one.
