In the Beech Forest by Jakub Podlodowski

This piece of art is painted in plein air. I had come back 10 days to the same spot, at the same time and tried to catch what was interesting for me about this subject. I did not try to make full copy of that what I have seen, I just tried to experience as much as I could from this place, tranform all my impressions from it and transfer them into the painting. The feeling of depth and balanced light was super important for me. I hope you will like this complex painting. I have been doing many paintings of the forest, and it is my favourite subject to paint.
