Mujer con Ramo by Marcos Rey

This drawing has been created from the idea of representing a woman who, despite having lost everything, remains strong and dignified. She wants to be faithful to her love beyond death. For this I wanted to emphasize her stoic posture and her upright head. Everything symbolizes death, instead she emerges young and beautiful. I have used different techniques that have allowed me to provide a great wealth of nuances and textures to the drawing to try to convey a feeling of realism and drama. Water always plays a very important role in the production of my drawings, since it brings ease and movement to the atmosphere of the work.

Este dibujo ha sido creado a partir de la idea de representar a una mujer que a pesar de haberlo perdido todo, permanece fuerte y digna. Quiere ser fiel a su amor más allá de la muerte. Para ello he querido hacer énfasis en su postura estoica y su cabeza erguida. Todo simboliza la muerte, en cambio ella emerge joven y hermosa.

He utilizado distintas técnicas que me han permitido dotar de una gran riqueza de matices y texturas al dibujo para intentar transmitir una sensación de realismo y dramatismo. El agua siempre juega un papel muy importante en la producción de mis dibujos, ya que aporta soltura y movimiento a la atmósfera de la obra.
