Meet-up at Barnies by Morgan Samuel Price

"Meet-up at Barnies" was painted on Park Avenue in Winter Park, FL. This area is so delightful and the cafe's stay very busy all day long. I was on the location for four days early in the morning. I would pack up at 11:30am and head back to my studio. While painting this scene I had numberous visitors stopping to view my painting and make appreciative comments as they passed by or stopped to visit. This painting was a commission.

The sunny days continued all through the time I was developing this scene. Across the street is a park with shady trees. It was perfect each day. I always enjoy painting dappled light.
