Manhattan Bridge in Rain by Sung Kim

This is a painting of the Manhattan bridge in the rain. The view is from Dumbo, Broklyn and my goal was to capture the atmosphere that created by the magnificent scale of the bridge with the beautiful structure details, yet not too overwhelmingly. As much as accuracy of perspective and details I was focusing on, I tried to capture the unified tones and color temperature to create the subtleness of warm gray and cool shadows.
