Julia Kempa

Poland

My journey with art starts from my childhood. Since my youngest age I had a deep fascination related realism - I loved taking a pencil or a brush and challenge myself in practicing my skills to the perfection. I always wanted to break the visual barrier between painting and the photography - create astonishingly polished image which would play with the viewer, confuse him and trick his mind: "Is it really a painting? Or a photo?". Currently I study at the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice. I paint in oil technique while practicing drawing skills. My style is very surrealistic. I like to touch reality like a clay which I can melt in my hands, shape it into the most reliable story which can connect with the viewer's mind and heart. I want to spread the beauty of realistic art in the future, show its beauty and indisputable power, inspire people and be inspired as well.
