Robyn Cotter
Robyn’s interest and appreciation of art was born while working at the National Gallery of Australia, exposing her to the wide range of Fine and Decorative Arts held in these collections, and so began a lifelong pursuit of creative and artistic endeavours.
After a move to rural Victoria, she continued painting and exhibited with some success in several group shows in rural Victoria and New South Wales. Between the demands of small children, family business and completing a BA at the University of Melbourne, (majoring in the history of Renaissance Florence), her further artistic studies included workshops and extended self-study.
In 2017, finding herself free to throw herself into full time study with Ani Art Academies at the Thailand campus, she completed the Language of Drawing in 2019. She continues to further her education in representational drawing and painting, with future study opportunities in Europe on the horizon.
