This allegorical work aims to be a critique of the abuse suffered by figurative art and above all realism today by most sectors of contemporary art. I wanted to represent him as a martyr who is dying, after being beaten, stripped of his clothes and bound against his will. His expression denotes great sadness and resignation. He wears a white, spotless cloth, a symbol of honesty, that contrasts with her body full of dirt and wounds. In the foreground is a wristwatch, broken, in which time has stopped
